Geospatial psychometric analysis
The use of GIS in the social sciences and psychology are minimal, but growing. Specified researchers in the social sciences have delved into areas including:
- epidemiological geographic analysis
- cancer geographic distribution and demographic relationships
- disease migration
- syndromic surveillance and terrorism health planning with GIS
ESA is actively working with social scientists in using GIS to analyze logitudinal adolescent relationships - including deviant peer and aggression variables.
